After a wonderful two years of working on the BEST magazine in the world, I have decided that it is time to move on to a new adventure and hand over the magazine to my colleague Tallulah Speed.
Tallulah is the Editor-in-waiting for IDM and I know she will be a fantastic addition to both www.irishdancing.com and IDM. She is very excited to meet all of you and I know you will give her a warm welcome, as you did for me when I first joined the IDM team. Tallulah has got lots of exciting plans for IDM and would also love to hear about your own ideas for the website and magazine. Why not drop her a message and welcome her onboard by Clicking Here.
There are great times ahead for IDM with excellent plans in the pipeline for making it bigger and even better - watch this space!
I am very sad to be saying goodbye to all of you and would to thank you for your fun, support and generally for being such a lovely bunch of Irish
I will miss you all but can assure you that Tallulah will do a brilliant job!
She will now have the opportunity to review a Liffey book and have it published in IDM!
So if you have got a question or two that you would like answered by an expert, send your questions with your name and age to email@example.com by Thursday 8th July.

Are you going to a feis this weekend? Have you been to one recently? Well why not send your feis picts to IDM and have them printed in the magazine? Just tell me which feis the pictures were taken at and who is in the photos and you could soon be starring in IDM!
Email them to: firstname.lastname@example.org
Today is the last day of the treasure hunt and all of you have been extremely clever detectives! We have had Irish musicians hiding around www.irishdancing.com all week and the first person to tell me where they found all five musicians and who they were will win an IDM Music Goody Bag! The winner will be announced on www.irishdancing.com on Monday.
How are you all getting on with your 'I love Liffey Rivers because...' entries? Don't forget the deadline is June 21st 2010.
Lucy and the IDM Team x
Deadline: Monday 14th June
I often hear of talented mums or relatives making the most beautiful Irish dance dresses or waistcoats and it would be great to share your tips and advice with other budding tailors.
What inspires your designs? Where do you source the fabric from? How did you learn the art of designing and making ID costumes?
Why not answer the above questions and send in a picture of your latest creation?
The deadline for this is Friday 11th June.
Send your answers and pics to: email@example.com
