TEAM IDM!

So, today I am putting together a very special issue of IDM. It's our first ever team special and is really really exciting. It is making me think... wouldn't it be cool if we could have an IDM Team! how cool would that be! Your thoughts...?

To WIG or not to wig?

Today is a busy day for me at IDM Towers! We are trying out curling products for our tried and tested section! We are trying to work out if we can get rid of the wig and bring back naturally curled hair? What do you lot think?

Green grant!

ITV here in the UK and the Lottery are giving £50million to one of four big projects; Here at IDM we love the idea of the Sustrans’ proposal: a national scheme of nice bridges and happy cycle paths for the people. It ends Monday and I urge you all to vote, and you don't even have to live in the UK to vote!

Liffey Rivers

As Brenna Briggs is about to release the third in her series of Liffey Rivers books, my buddy Ellie decide you guys might like to read her review of the second book in the series: Liffey Rivers And the mystery of the Winking Judge. For more info on the books visit Liffey's Site!

We will let you know the publication date of the new book a ASAP and maybe even do a special competition in IDM! READ MORE

Liffey Rivers And the Mystery of the Winking Judge

From the National Portrait Gallery in London to the hills of Ireland, excitement and intrigue follow Liffey Rivers wherever she goes. Liffey Rivers and the Mystery of the Winking Judge is a gripping read with a heroine who never loses sight of the ultimately important things - her first solo dress and that all important Feis!

The perfect read for any Irish dancer who can empathise with Liffey’s instantly likeable character and the trials that she faces as it seems that everything is just determined to come between her and the Beltra feis. This is one to share with your non Irish dancing mates as well; Liffey Rivers will appeal to just about any teenager. The star stumbles easily into trouble and out of it just as effortlessly. Dealing along the way with everything, from the loss of a parent, to looking stupid in front of the cute security guard!

This is the second Liffey Rivers Irish dancing mystery that will keep you guessing right through to the end, starring a quirky Irish dancer who should not be underestimated! We love Liffey and we love her dad, the long suffering Robert Rivers. This book has got it all, mystery, intrigue, comedy, even a history lesson and, of course – Irish dancing! Bring on more Liffey Rivers adventures!

Press day!

So it's press day here at IDM towers which means we are running around to finish the magazine and get it to the printers! It's the maddest day every month...but of course I love it!

The satisfaction when I see each issue finished and arrive on my desk all glossy and lovely is great!

So do you guys work well towards deadlines? I guess Irish dance is a constant deadline...each Feis being something to aim at! Which reminds me...i must sort out going to another Feis don't you think!

Flatley: He's back!

Gives me goose bumps everytime I watch this!

Happy Thanksgiving
