NANS 2012 Logo Competition

H. Is both traditional and whimsical, lite and ariy and not to busy. The letter font lets you know right away it's an Irish/Celtic event. Also the wind blown shamrock (hello Chicago) with the Celtic knots is a beautiful and classy touch. I'm positive this is a logo the Irish dance community will whole heartedly embrace. LOGO H best captures the essence of Irish Dance while being a very clear and concise image that is also beautifully executed. I love how it speaks to "tradition" with the the font choice and celtic knots and iconography while tying in the Chicago theme with the subtle image of the wind. The way the Celtic and Chicago themes are tied together with the wind growing out of the Shamrock is a nice subtle and effective touch, in addition to the Irish dancer tied into the text. I really like Logo G!!! It's fun and, being from the windy city myself, it really captures the spirit of Chicago. I would totally buy a Tshirt with this fun design on it, and really hope it wins. The thing that, to me, sets it apart from the others is that it is not so serious as H or D, I, or J. I truly hope this can be the winner. I'd totally buy a shirt for F. They're all good but that's my favorite. I think H is actually the hardest to read because of the old font and the type going in all directions. I LOVE the script in logo H, so classic! The whole design is simple and clean, yet it is wonderfully detailed at the same time. This logo will make the transfer from the page to garments beautifully.
