Sad Things

I know this is probably kind of a weird thread. I started to call it "Pity Party Thread" but I didn't want it to sound like I was poking fun or anything. But sometimes when we have something sad going on, we have what my mom calls a "Pity Party" to sort of let ourselves feel the sadness and then begin to get over it.

Anyway, it just seems like so many people have had something sad going on lately, or even in the past that I thought it might be nice to have a place to go to talk about the sadness and get support from other folks who care. So if you have something sad- a death of a person or pet, or a disappointment, or just anything like that, post it here and we'll all do what we can to give you some support!

It is sad when you can't go to your favorite feis! I find that I get really attached to certain ones and I'd be really upset if I had to miss them.
Why won't you be able to dance there?:(

I think also think its a good idea...... Im really sad that i cant go 2 ANY feisanna this summer and my friends are doing 4 of them...... my next feis will be in october which would be 6 MONTHS since my last feis :(
im also kinda worried that all my friends will get firsts and move up into championship while im still stuck in prizewinner :(

I know what you mean, sometimes you (and by 'you' I don't mean you particularly, just anyone in general) do get worried that your friends will move up and you'l be left behind. And then you'd feel alone. I also think sometimes you feel like if your friends move up, and you don't, even if it's just because they got to go to some feiseanna that you didn't, it'll be embarrassing. I know I feel that way sometimes a little. But mostly I just feel like I'd miss them being in the same class with me. ANd you want to support your friends, and yet, you don't want them to win without you!!! Yep, I know all about that! :o

I'm sorry you won't be able to go to any feiseanna. I don't guess you could ride along with any of them?

Well most everybody knows my disappointment, but here goes.. I miss my code of conduct medal and I want it back :( WHAAAAAAA lol ok my pity party's over

Well they did offer to give me a ride but im going to colorado 2 visit my grandma..... and im leaving the day theres a feis and im also comming back the day right after a feis and plus theres also another feis somewhere in between. :( and also theres a feis in colorado but its like a week b4 i visit

Aw, so it seems like you're just missing things by a thread. That's too bad.
Well, just keep practising and when you go to your next feis, you'll be extra good, and make up for lost time!!!!!:D :D :D

I hope your surgery goes really well, and that everything heals perfectly! And that you can be dancing back again just as soon as possible!

I hope time passes really quickly for you and it won't feel so long. Just think, half a weeks' already gone!!!! ANd you have all us lovely folks on here to keep you busy!:D :D

Get some aloe vera on that burn! and take a cool bath! (bath, not a shower)
and put cool tea bags on the burn!

I have a reeeeeeely bad burn too, and those things have really helped!

I have nothing sad in my life at the moment, so I'll put extra time into thinking of all of you and hoping things will soon be better, from sunburn to dance disappointments. Good luck, everybody!
