What are your pet peaves?
I hate it when people crack their knuckles and when people pull their forks out of their mouths and it grinds against their teeth and it makes that awful noise....I shutter to think about it!;) :eek:
I have a few, but i can never think of them when someone asks. I will make a note of them when i think of them and then post them here! :D

one of mine is when people take their forks and clide it back and forth against their knife...another is when people file their nails, when people drive wayy to slow,and when people look over my shoulder when im on the computer...i cant think of any others :)

cracking knuckles.... dancing with feet turned in on purpose... the last one makes me feel all creepy inside..... it looks really weird. :(

I could scream when I step into something wet with socks
And I can't stand it when someone is always nod with there feet
and when someone took a shower and didn't dry it so I step into and I slip and fall on my bum.:eek: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to think a pet peeve was something that peeved you about your pets. I have a lot of that kind of pet peeves!!! Like that every time my dog comes in my room she has to steal a sock, but she folds it up in her mouth so you can see that she has it and when she puts it down, then it's all drippy....
But I have a lot of regular ones too! I agree, I do not like it when people say like all the time. I know one girl that does that and once we were with her and my mom started doing it to see if it would catch her attention but the girl never noticed.

I hate having to cut raw meat. And I don't like it when people are highly strung and they keep wobbling a foot up and down, or tapping their fingers on something. Or when someone chews with their mouth open! :mad: Or when the cats lick themselves and it makes spitty sounds. But, having said that, I'm actually a VERY patient person!

They thought it was funny... in some ways it would be.. It makes me feel sort of sick tho... like seeing a broken arm out of a cast... ya know? And not just a bit turned in.. like totally. :S

i hate that too!! i HATE when peeps at my school think that ID is NOT a sport which OF COURSE it is!!! and they do some stupid dance and their like look i can do it too!! irish dancing is more of a sport then football or baseball because its all year round [well for me it is] those other sprots only have seasons!!

I hate when somebody puts there chin on my left shoulder! It feels so weird! And I also hate when you're laying on a pillow and some one scratches that pillow. It sounds so weird!

I think some programs have a filter that just weeds out any combination of letters that might be offensive, or might be an ugly word, and it replaces it with stars. That happened to me once, some time ago. No one thinks you were writing anything ugly, but the computer doesn't have reasoning power!!:rolleyes: ;) :p :o

yeah, you can actually set up your site to get rid of swears. :)
So just put a space in it somewhere and the comp won't do this * :p

I figured it out because i was trying to type out sc rapbook.. And I was like.. what was that!?!?!
And now.. I'm trying to set up a site for my key club at my school and I was reading up on Drupal and Vbulletin to try and make it work...
Even tho I still have no idea how to set it up.. I've learned a ton.

well, if you take the word apart you were, but we look at the words meaning as a whole. If you KNOW it's not rude.. then don't worry about it. :)
i hate liars! esspecially when theyr a new kid or something and u befriend them and find out that they lie alll the time about how they had 60 groups of friends and they were the most popular kid at school and there super rich and modled for a ton of desingers and stuff! and its really annoying cuz i dont buy any of it and they accully think i belive them

You should not be mad at them.
Be sad FOR them.
They must have low self esteems and they need to boost it up by lying... don't really take a thing they say personally and just move on.. don't pay them all that much attention..
eventually, they'll realize lying stinks...
And until them.. be sorry for them.

I hate it when I have an idea for something... and then the person who the teacher appointed to be in charge has another idea. We end up going with their idea and sometimes it works... mostly it doesn't...
then we do my idea and it works way better.
By the end of the year, everyone's like.. any ideas Ali???
Then we build on them and brainstorm together...
Tho sometimes that's sad too... People talk to me more to get my help than to actually get to know me sometimes. :(
I hate that.. people who aren't my friends only act like my friends when they want something.

I don't like people who lie either Kels. I do feel sad for them, but I also really think honesty is so important and it makes me very upset when I find out someone has lied. Especially when they lie about something that's so not worth lying over, and that's so easy to find out the truth about!!!
I also don't like it when someone that I know lies, says I've lied!! That really irks me!!! I guess they're trying to cover up for themselves but it just really makes me not want to forgive them!!
Lying in general is a big huge ginormous pet peeve for me.

That happens to me a lot. I hate when people do that
OMG I thought of one the other day. (this happens in UK I dunno about america coz of the currency difference) You know when you go to a shop and say you buy something for a couple of pound and you only have a 10 pound note. ok so you give them the tenner and they give you the change, putting the 5 pound note in your hand and then the coins ontop. They can plainly see that your other hand if taken up by your purse/wallet and now they've tied your other hand up with the money. And the thing is because you have the coins on top of the note you can't do much so your stuck and you holding everyone up behind you trying to get your money away! That sometimes annoys me
then theres the other one where you are waiting for you change and you hold you hand out for it and they put it on the counter totally ignoring you. I just don't see the point, whats wrong with putting it in your hand? It's silly! :p

Yea, that one's hard too. And it is a lie in a way, because it's saying something that isn't true. Even though when you say it you may intend. I know someone who does that a lot and my mom says "Just don't even say you'll do something because so often you don't follow through- at least if you dont' say it and don't do it, you've not hurt anyone and if you don't say it and do it, then it's a nice surprise!!!" THat probably sounds confusing, but I know what I mean at least!:D :o

Yes, that's it perfectly. And you're so lucky to have friends that you feel that safe and trusting with. I tend to pick the wrong people a lot, and get let down a lot. And it can cause it to be hard to trust people.

It's taken me a long time to find them. Of course my sisters always been there and I've always been able to trust her, and I've known lolly for a long time and have always gone to her or bridgey if i've needed to talk. But I've managed to find friends (and a bf) I can really trust and it helps! RJ you know that you can trust me! and i'm sure theres others on here you can do the same. You haven't picked the wrong ppl on here :D

Oh, no, You're right, I know the people on here are ones I can trust!!! I have such great friends on here!!
And most of the people at dance I can too, although there are a few that I have to be wary of, but it's not hard to tell that ahead of time.
It's the undancing people around here who are problems!!!:o I'm learning though and I'm learning that when my mom feels funny about someone, I'm better off staying away from them because she has really good instincts! :D
Mum's tend to have a sixth sense about these things. I know mine does :) I have to say most of the friends I know I can trust are dancers. All my best friends are dancers, along with my sister and boyfriend who are also best friends of mine. so maybe it's something about dancers ;)

It's a shame these days that people can't trust everyone and everyone has to have suspicions of everyone. what is the world coming to when one species of animal have to turn agains't each other!

#1 I don't know them well
#2 They probably wouldn't study even with the notes
#3 it's wrong.
I'll only help someone if they are desperate. otherwise i'll just show them in the right direction!

hmm.. I don't like those people either...
however I'm not going to change my path either.... I'm agressive but not going to perposely kick or cut someone off... And if I see that someones going to be in my way, I'll adjust... but I won't change my major path because my steps are meant for a certain pattern...
I hate it when there's not enough room.
That annoys me. When your in an Ard Grad feis (prizewinner/PC) and they put you on a tiny stage with 2 other people. There's just no room to move :@

i know exactly what you mean colz!!! That happens to me all the time and it is annoying! lol. or when they give you the receipt in your hand as well, with all the change on top and you cant do anything! lol

They do that all the time.
I just crunch up the receipt around the change and put it in my pocket. At the end of the day when I get home, I take the receipts and put them in a box for receipts and the change goes into the change jar. :)
thats a good idea. I normally just struggle, and if i end up holding people up I can't help it and they will just have to wait :p

Seddon will tell you how organised i can get. I can be very messy with some things but if it's something i use every day like my wallet or something i have to have it organised!

Same as me. Some things are really organised, especially all my school folders. But then with some things i am totally unorganised. Whenever i go to someones house i always leave something there! I can be very forgetful :p

Oh I am EXACTLY like that. I'm sure I have little bits and pieces of mine everywhere 8-) I can never keep things together no matter how hard i try :p
