http://www.rutherfordshoes.com/productSection.asp?station=1&section=10&prodFilter=15 Rutherford sells a back loop custom strap kit that supposedly helps keep the heel from sliding up and down. Every pair of hardshoes I buy seems to have this problem no matter whether they're brand new or 4 years old!! I'm wondering if anyone has tried this back loop strap and whether you find it helps or not. If it was cheap enough, I'd just order it, but with shipping it would be almost $20 Canadian, and I don't want to get it if it's pointless!! I can't say it looks the tidiest, but I think it looks nicer and neater than the shamrock lacing system, so any advice would be appreciated! :D

I personally have never worn them. However, I've seen them on a few dancers and they look fine and they wear them, so they must have some benefit.

Also, you could check with Rutherford over the phone and ask them what their return policy is or if they ever have any breaks on shipping costs.

(sometimes there's little deals like, shipping free if you order x.)

Hope that helps! :D
