Hey folks there is a new badge on the way! For those of you with profiles on other networks like Bebo and Myspace. If you send me a picture or a link to your profile with the IDMer4life badge on it you'll get this new badge.

I just spent one hour trying to get it on deviant art.

Apparently for a website banner it needs to be.

88 pixels in width and 31 pixels

and it's got to be a gif.

I'm not sure how to change the dimensions of the badge. I do have it saved on my comp, but photoshop makes all the sparkles go away... so...

please help. :(

I don't have a clue. It's blogspot, if that tells you anything. his blog is www.amazingbear.blogspot.com. All he has to do is type it in and click post and it posts stuff, it has to be pretty simple for a bear to do it, you know, but please don't tell him I said that or I'll never hear the end of it.

ok, just go to the IDM blog and look for the sparklee badge. Then copy the HTML. It worked for me on aliandra, so it should work for you. And then I also made it smaller for deviant art, if anyone needs it a certain size.

And then once you post it on your profile, you then post the link here and show admin that you did that. Then you get a special friends merit medal added to your profile! ^__^

So here's the link to it. Kind of sad the thing's so small... but oh well. Nothing I could do about it. XD

Tamasine and admin are no longer focused on this badge. Perhaps if you send them a nice pm, saying that you put the IDMer for life bage up, they'll give it to you and look at this thread again.

There are so many different things to juggle. :p Don't worry, you'll get your medal eventually, just nicely ask admin and tam if you can have one.

the IDMer4Life badge is a badge that you get on your profile when you add the sparkly thing to a different profile on a different website. It shows that you are a Friend of IDM and that you want to spread the news of Irish Dancing Magazine!!! once you put the sparkly phrase on your profile on a different site, you contact IDMadmin or Tamasine saying that you did that. You give them the link, and in return they give you the special badge! :D does that help?

I was wondering, will you do the same thing for Youtube accounts. See, according to my mom and my school, I'm not allowed to have a myspace. if I do I could be grounded and suspended. However, in order to place videos on the web, we are allowed to have youtube accounts. Will you give the new badge if we have one of those?:confused:
