i just remebered that my utmost favourite film and tv program is "friends" i love it so much i have the 10 seasons :D
my favourite actors from it are lisa Kudrow and Mtthew Perry but i love them all they are all so brilliant i wish i could meet them :D

I like comedies too. My favorite funny movieson DVD right now are Sweet Home Alabama and Kate and Leopold. I"ve not seen a whole lot of more recent movies- seems like we get so busy I miss a lot of them. I really enjoyed both Pirates of the Caribbean movies and can't wait til the third one. I love the Lord of the Rings movies too.:D

i dont have a fave movie...if i had to decide i'd have to say pirates...i LOVE that film. But basicly i'll watch any movie if it means cooching up with my closest mates especially my bf ^^ i can only really njoy a movie if i'm watching it with one of my fave ppl

Has anyone here seen "Take the Lead"? I thought that was an awesome movie, and it's currently number one on my list (it changes on a regular basis, ha ha!) I don't like hip hop or anything, but they did a very good job of working it with ballroom dancing. I was impressed, and now I bring it with me to watch before a feis! It gets me motivated... :)

Yes! I really love Take the Lead. My sister and I have seen it over and over! It's one of my favorite movies too! I also really like Shall We Dance. It's not got quite as much dancing, but it's really a neat movie too.

i saw take the lead on the way to san diego for nationals. it reminded me of shall we dance...so i didn't like it as much. i also saw Annapolis with James Franco in it...that's a good movie. (not just because James Franco is gorgeous or anything)

I like comedy too!! but I don't get around to seeing many movies in the cinemas...Brylcreem Boys is a movie that I would absolutley LOVE to see!! Any regards to that movie, comments, anything, would be greatly appreciated. I'll ramble off my current list if I can remember them all: The Blues Brothers (HILARIOUS), V for Vendetta (EXCELLENT), Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, X men, Star Wars, The Indiana Jones Trilogy, Animal House, Ferris Beuhler's (sp?) Day Off, FX, Dear Ruth, House on Haunted Hill (the old one w/ Vincent Price), Jeremiah Johnson, Just Like Heaven, The Mummy, and of course:Monty Python and the Holy Grail!! the list goes on and on and on....but I don't usually like chick flicks at all, unless they're funny. I really did not like Under the Tuscan Sun...but that's just my view, my mom and sister loved it...
TV shows: more of a movie person really, but I'll watch just about anything on TV Land (old shows) or animal planet. I love Leave it to Beaver, the Munsters, Three's Company, Roseanne, Batman, Wonder Woman, etc. and oh yeah I also like the Golden Girls and Frazier...

I really like The Devil Wears Prada. That is the best movie ever. Madagascar and Aladdin are really good too! I also like Harry Potter Movies!

I was thinking about watching Girl with a Pearl Earring. I heard it was phenomenal. We're at that period in my art history class now, so I'm excited to see it. Anyone have reviews on it?

Girl With a Pearl Earring was GREAT! I think all of the actors did an excellent job and it was very interesting! Also it stayed true to the book.

I saw it and it was very good. I'd love to take up Ballroom dancing, especially after watching Strictly Come Dancing on BBC.:rolleyes:

Mostely I like arthouse films. When I went to see Miss Potter, the two back rows in the cinema were taken by some very jolly nuns!:D There was a convent just across the road so go figure.:p Has anyone seen Les Choristes? It was sooooo good... and it was in French with subtitles and I can happily listen to french for hours without understanding a word! Same goes for Cyrano de Bergerac. And now I guess everyone thinks I'm a freak... oh well!:D
