Confused !

I got a message in a box at the top of my page when I logged on today asking if I entered the elevation competition and it said "delete" or "delete + send confirmation". I didn't even know you could send messages like that so can anyone tell me if that's the sort of thing you send to everyone on the site or are they for individual people ? I'm really confused.

that was an instant message. you send that to individual people. i got one as well.

That was an instant message. You can instant message people that are online. You just go to their page and press "Instant Message" it's in that little box where you add them as your friend. You will come to a screen that has a drop down menu of the members that are online and a little box where you can type what you want to say. Just pick the member you want to instant message from the drop down menu, type in what you want to say, and press "Send"

Yes, it's an instant message. Litterally, just hit reply. then type in the box that pops up your replies and then hit submit.

If you wish to send an IM all by yourself, then simply go to your message inbox, look at the bottom and click on the little arrow to see who's on. Select one of the usernames and write a message. hit submit.

And then it's sent, just like one was sent to you.
