Knitting!

I have just recently taken up knitting. I really like it! I'm knitting a striped scarf right now! I'm going to send it to Cutechix when I'm done!!
Any other knitters out there?

Oooh, I LOVE knitting! As soon as autumn arrives I get my needles out. My mum taught me when I was just a little noonoo but I'm not very good - I can't do cables, or anything wearable (apart from a scarf or baby jersey) , for that matter. Every winter I knit lots and lots of squares: We hand them in at school, then some kind ladies sew them together to make blankets for the poor people who are cold. I have a very easy pattern for a pretty diagonal square that doesn't curl up at the ends. I know it would probably be cheaper and easier to go and buy a polar fleece blanket, but what would I do with my hands then?

Mom and i took a mother/daughter knitting class once, but I was hopeless. She knits very well and does a lot of kntting while I'm at dance.
Sweetpea, it's so nice that you make the squares for cold people.
Mom once found me a pattern for a blankie for dogs in shelters, thinking I might like doing that for dogs, but I've never been very good with my hands, but I wish I was!

My mom used to do that when she was little! But she said that most of the time she made her granny do it, so she would always get praised for her amazing knitting!! :D

Oooh.... I do! I knitted a pink and green stripey scarf. Ive biin looking for one EVERYWHERE and now... I dont have to! Ahhhh... Im gona knit sum cool legwarmers for dancing, probably to match mii scarf. Im so excited!

I love knitting! My Nan and I just sit there knitting together. At the moment i'm making a scaff but with oganza the needles are huge! lol

its great fun x i learned a couple of years ago and i really enjoyed it...then i completely forgot about it and didnt really pay it any interest x but then at school a couple of weeks ago and im really enjoying it x we're doing a knitting project im making a handbag x some people think its really stupid and geekie but then again thats there opinion x i think its fine xx :~)
