Tony Nother and Pat King are my favorites, but I have some other dance CDs I really like. 4reel is right, if you can get her several CDs that would be best because they can be different. I burn my 2 or 3 favorites of each dance onto a CD and practice to that, but every once in a while I use one of the original CDs because it's fun to dance to different music.

Dean Crouch's Top Box is really good, and also Christopher McGrory's One Step Closer. I got One Step Closer as a Win One A Day prize and I love it. I use it to practice all the time, & I don't tire of the music on it.

I have '100% Pure Irish Dancing' which have all 'basic' dances like reels and jigs in different speeds. It also include some traditional set dances. I think that one is good to start.
