How do you find out when shows are looking for more people? What do you have to do, send in a tape? How does it all work? Are there any new shows? thanks:)

I assume there's information on the website of most dance shows. I know in the Riverdance FAQ's there's a section on auditions, but that's sort of a moot point now... But I assume they're a good reference for what other shows are likely to do (ie notify teachers when they'll be having auditions and maybe accepting video auditions preliminarily and calling you in for a personal one if they like you...)

LOTD and Riverdance you'll get the address on their websites to send you're audition tape to. They only audition people who send in tapes.Hardly anyone holds open auditions so if you know of shows send them you're audition tape...it can't do any harm. Certain shows have dancers who were handpicked by the person in charge at comps because they're champs but i'm not naming names.
