Which do you prefer feises, performances or dance classes????

I am starting to love al of them.

I absoloutely ADORE feising and am missing it terribly :/

Dance classes are one thing I look forward to every week

But being as I've performed all my life i have to say performing, although in my books performing comes uder all of them

I love going to clas and performing at display etc. But there is no better feeling than dancing with other people who live it as much as I do. Mel:D

I can't chose. Dance class is my favorite part of the week. I look forward to it on the days I don't go, and generally go extra days because I enjoy it so much.
Feiseanna are so much fun. I love the traveling and staying in hotels, and I love the excitement. And the dresses and seeing friends from all over.And the music. And of course the dancing. And then I love performances. Usually this time of year it's winding down a bit- for a while starting in May it's always so constant, sometimes every day, but it's so much fun, and it makes the people so happy that you go to dance for. So I really can't decide! Can you vote for more than one??:D :D

Like class because I learn all my dances and get better there.

Like Feises, because I can see how well I'm doing and get trophies and such.

Like performances because every one's like WOW and oo la la!!!

Danceclass is the best. I love it and I can't wait till the end of the week to go to class again.
Its so much fun and I love it to learn new steps, get better in my technic and to have fun with my girls.
Ofcause I like performing too, but class is a lot better. Performing is always so much work of preperation but i love it to get dressed up and wearing great stage makeup.
i can't say how a feis is. I've never done one.
Hopefully next year.

i like performances the best. i love classes and competitions (i've still never been to a proper feis yet, only plain competitions - well on the programmes they call them competitions and don't mention the word feis on them anywhere), but there isn't the pressure of competitions and there's all the people watching you and having come just to watch you and your friends dance, which is pretty cool:cool: :D

I think I'm tied between feises and performances...but I also couldn't live without dance class!!

I have to say most definetely preforming. I like that you don't have to worry about messing up, you can use your hands to make it more riverdance-like, and everyone is always amazed!!!!

I really like feises because i love to compete and this way i get to perform at the same time. it's also fun to see and meet people from different schools.

I like feises but I also love performing! It's so nice to make people amazed at what we (Irish Dancers) do, whereas we see Irish Dancing everyday so it's not as cool as it is to other people. Dance class is always so ughhhhhhh. Xo

If you think about though (well in my books anyway) they all include performing. You have to perform in Feisanna, you have to perform in displays/shows and you have to perform in class to get the good practice in. Performing and dancing in general go hand in hand

I must say that compititions are the best. The atmosphere and the support that every one shows each other is incredible.
There are 6 welsh schools in CRN, and at the championships i just love the fact that we all cheer for each other because were all welsh.

i'm not a very competitive person and i get sooo nervous at feis's but i love to perform so i'd say performing

i like feises because when you get a place it really feels like your hard work has payed off. and all the build up, and preparation for feising is really exciting.
I like classes because i can see all my dance friends and, obviously, thats where we learn our dancing!
I like performances because you are part of a team and spreading the word of irish dancing to people who dont really experience it otherwise.

I like performances most because the intensity and even nervousness a feis might cause won't come. All you need to do is relax, and if you mess up you don't lose points, and I just like the feeling that you entertained someone, and made someone happy.:)

Class is fun, but I love per4ming 4 people. And, there's not as much stress as there is at a feis.:) :p ;) :D

I voted Dance Classes... thats because I can really be myself at them, and its where I learn most of my steps and techniques that help me show off at feises and displays

Performances, closely followed by class... There are no competitions up here in northern Australia, just the local Eisteddfod. Which is fun and all, but I love performing because lots of people haven't seen irish dance before and they go 'ooh, that looks so cool!' Which is fun. And I love class because it's so much fun!!!

I guess I have to say Performences. I just LOVE performing for people. Dance isn't all about competition. I like making people happy. Although I do love feising!!

i love themm all!! but since i have dance class 2twice a week and performances like almost every month then i voted for feises because i dont have them very often so i LOOOVE them a LOT when they come around1!!



and im pretty sure ''feiseanna'' is the correect term for the plural of feis!!:D :D

o i just thought about it and i love performances more!!! because i just got back from a performance and we gave these little kids demonstrations and did ceili dances with and it was REEEELY fun and I like it becaus i dont get stresses like i do for competition!! and you can have more fun because your not upset that you didnt win!! and i love when the crowd gets all EXCITED when you dance and i absolutly LOVE st.pattys day we usually do like 10 performances around st.pattys day every yeaar and its superffunn!!:D :)
