Sometimes I do, I still love it but sometimes I just wanna relax and not have to worry about going to feiseanna and classes every monday and tuesday night.. I adore dancing, but I wish it wasn't so inconvenient sometimes!!

I LOVE dancing and I really hate missing Classes even if I get really sick.
Sometimes I don't want to go but I have too.
And I do have to say that I do put Dance in front alot of things except schoolwork.:p
But it does make me sad sometimes when I can't do things because I have a Feis,Show, etc.
But Dance is my life and I will do whatever it takes.
And when I went back east in the U.S. to visit my friend for a month I missed 12 classes.
I was so SAD.:o

Yup. Lots. I'll be seriously doubting myself and hate every aspect of dance and be so stressed and then I go and drill something, turn up to class and make myself feel so much better by absolutely working my butt off.

No, sometimes I get very frusterated because I'm not good at dance, and I'm older than the people I compete against, but I don't get sick of it. I wish I could go to more classes and compete more often!

The only thing I get sick of is nasty, competitive mothers. But I will NEVER get sick of dancing!

I've only been dancing for a few months, but never for a second have I regretted dance. I don't have many friends in the non-virtual world, and dance gives me a way to stick it to the losers who try to make me feel bad about myself. And since I never do much with the friends I do have, I never regret having class. :) Honestly, the adults in my dance class are much more fun to be around then the complete morons who make up most of the student body at my 'real' school.

Dance never gets old. Just like poking fun at the British in retaliation for my dad poking fun at the Irish never gets old, either. :P

Dancing doesn't really get old for me. Sometimes I might not feel like dancing but I love it anyways! I almost never miss class because I love it so much! I go to dance when I don't feel good or if I still ache from yesterday's class.

I get sick of dance so easily. I need challenges all the time and with being in prelim at my school I feel like there isn't much of a challenge with the choreography anymore. I find really easy to learn new things now, but when I first started dance it was really hard for me to understand the choreography so I had more fun wit it, but the challenge just isn't there anymore. For me I have that drive to learn new things and when it's not presented I lose interest.

I'm kind of at a low point in dance right now, so naturally I'm really frustrated and kind of sick of it. I can't even begin to imagine my life without it though.

I like my dances to be very polished (as does my teacher) so I and my teacher always find new things to work on, so I never get sick of it.

Occasionally I do get tired of dance, mostly when I'm learning a new dance that I'm having trouble with. I like knowing a dance, not learning it, because I like to be able to do it to music. Right now, though, I'm feeling pretty ambitious. My goal is to get my last beg 2 dance to novice and at least one other to prizewinner.

I used to, but now I can't get enough! I have a lot of goals to work towards and keep me motivated. My teacher changes our steps constantly so it keeps us on our toes, pun intended! :)

I do understand where people are coming from, because I used to not want to go to dance class. I'm glad that's over!

I LOVE dance  I hate missing classes:mad: I go to dancing 3 times a week, I have lots of privates and practice every night I don't go to dancing. I would never say I get sick of dancing. I am dedicated. I do everything I can to reach the top even if it's really tough. My results when down millions and my results are back on track after working really hard to make my results better. I'm so proud of myself. My teachers changed my steps for me to get placing high again. I'm so happy. xxx

Sometimes I don't feel like dancing because my legs feel too heavy to lift. But then I just hate the feeling that I can't lift my legs.

No, actually.
A lot of times i cant go places or do stuff because a) dance is a lot of money so we don't have money for big trips and stuff and b) because I'd be missing classes or a feis to do much of anything else.
Sure, I'd love to get to do big fancy trips, and do more activities, but Irish Dance is #1 to me and I can put all the minor annoyances aside and dance, dance, dance all the time and have the time of my life!! :D

After doing two feises in less than two months and doing shows and a week-long workshop, I got so tired of dancing. I love dancing, but I was getting tired of competing and going to class, it was just too much. After taking a complete break for about a month, I feel rested and ready to get back into dance now. Sometimes you just need a break.:) I learned a new step in June, and we usually have fun (not always ;) )! I hate missing class even when I'm sick because I just love it there! :) :D

I did in a way. . .
My brain was on overload and I was just frustrated with myself to the pint where I did not go to my first Oireachtas and I took thee weeks off!
But next year I will be better than ever and hoping to achieve loads!

I think we all (well, atleast most of us :)) get sick of it sometimes just because we want to do other things, or feel pressured to do well or are tired. But I just think of how hard that I have worked to get to where I am and I always 'jump back up'. :)

Ya sometimes dancing can be really difficult and frustrating! But whenever the slightest thought of ending it comes to mind, i always think of my strengths and what I have accomplished and what I'm really shooting for

Me, too! Whenever I'm doubting dance, I go watch Jig! :D

I watch inspirational dance movies like Jig, The Big Jig, or Strictly Irish Dancing...or sometimes I plainly watch people dancing on YouTube!
