How short is too short for a solo dress?

How short is too short for a solo dress? ive seen some pretty short dresses out there... lol
the problem for me is that the back of my dress is really short but the front isnt as short.
anyway im just wondering what is too short.

I think it's up to you and your TC ! One of my teachers loves short dress the other one doesn't really mind either way on e they look right! I think half way down your thigh is probably good!

I think halfway down your thigh is the official rule in CLRG.I'm not sure if they are going by the front or the back though, because the back of a dress is almost always shorter.
I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for a dress that's too short, but they say the judge can disqualify anyone whose dress is really short.

Oh, I've seen the dress length rule enforced here in Mid-America. Assuming you are a CLRG dancer, it's best to obey the rule: "All costumes, both for solo and team dancers, must be no shorter than mid-thigh, in the back of the leg."
