How short is too short for a solo dress? ive seen some pretty short dresses out there... lol
![]() the problem for me is that the back of my dress is really short but the front isnt as short. anyway im just wondering what is too short. |

I think it's up to you and your TC !
One of my teachers loves short dress the other one doesn't really mind either way on e they look right! I think half way down your thigh is probably good! ![]() |

I think halfway down your thigh is the official rule in CLRG.I'm not sure if they are going by the front or the back though, because the back of a dress is almost always shorter.
I've never heard of anyone getting in trouble for a dress that's too short, but they say the judge can disqualify anyone whose dress is really short. |

Oh, I've seen the dress length rule enforced here in Mid-America. Assuming you are a CLRG dancer, it's best to obey the rule: "All costumes, both for solo and team dancers, must be no shorter than mid-thigh, in the back of the leg."

I think the general rule is halfway between the back of your knee and your butt... anything shorter you can be disqualified for
