Hey, everybody!!! So, I'm going to the North American Nationals in July. I'm very excited! But, I don't know wether to wear a bun wig, or a full wig. I usually wear a bun wig to feisanna, and and international competitions. Is the bun wig look more of a "Irish" look? I'm wondering because I want to "look the part". Thanks!

Hi!
![]() It depends on what you like the most, what you feel confident in and also what your teacher wants. I've seen a lot of girls with bun wigs and find it beautiful, especially on the senior girls (I don't know how old you are), because it gives a more classy look Also, several people start to go wigless, which I like a lot (but I don't have the patience to do it myself yet hahaha), so I think bun wigs are a nice compromise between the two. *Note: I've never been to nationals nor Oireachtas so I can't really tell, but I know at the Worlds and at the All Irelands there were definitely people who went wigless / with bun wigs ![]() Hope I helped! And Good luck ![]() |

It seems a lot of dancers are wearing bun wigs now. I like them both.
I would just go with my gut feeling. Last edited by SweetEdelweiss09 : 05-08-2012 at 05:34 PM. |
