Arrow Dance Sneakers...

So...does anyone here use them? What do you think of them? Opinions on brands/types?

And of course, the all important question; why did you buy them? To save wear and tear on your hard shoes? Or other reasons?

I have a pair. I think they are a good investment. I've only had one pair so I can't give a good opinion on brands. I have capezios and they seem nice. I bought the cheapest capezios the dance store had but now I regret it because they have no support for pointe work. But hey they still work nicely. I've heard blocs are really good. I bought them for a couple reasons. They're nice to have if you are inbetween hardshoes or you have blisters and you don't want to make them worse. Also, I practice on a dance floor in my garage. It gets really loud if I wear hardshoes so I wear sneakers to keep the noise level down.

I almost always practice in my dance sneakers because my floor doesn't have that much give in it so it is too hard on my knees to practice pounding on it is hardshoes every day. I origionally bought them to wear in the St. Patrick's day parade. I had the cheapest capezios too(the all cloth ones) for a long time, but now i've got sansha brand which have a much better arch support.

i have a pair of bloch sneakers...i got them because the only place for me to practice in our house where there is a decent space is the garage...which means a concrete floor...i know, bad ay? and i got shin splints from practicing hard shoe on it. so i got the blochs for that.

i much prefer soft shoes for soft shoe practice coz blochs are too bulky, and i only really like wearing my blochs for hard shoe when im learning a new dance, so that i can give my feet a bit of a break. but once i start to perfect my dance to music i love wearing my hard shoes. blochs feel really and if you practice too much in them your rhythm is really bad when you go back to hard shoes
