Smile Favorite non-Irish music to practice with

What is everyone's favorite non-Irish dance music to practice Irish dance to? My teacher has told me you can treble reel to a lot of songs, like Devil Went Down to Georgia and some Britney Spears songs, but I'm not very good at hearing the counts in non-Irish songs. I would love to have other songs to practice with, so what are you favorites? I love rock and alternative, but pop or whatever could work too... I'd love a song with jig timing so I can do my treble jig to it, as the treble reel is very new to me. Although, if it's in reel time, I can do some soft shoe.

So! Please suggest some different kinds of music and songs I could practice to, hard shoe and/or soft, any of the dances really. Thanks! I think I saw something about green day in the magazine several years ago, but I can't remember the song or the dance I could do to it.

Cotton Eyed Joe by the Cheiftans is really great! I know it's more Irishy but it's still really cool! C'est la Vie by B*Witched is a really good treble reel.

For doing warmups, I love doing The Rocky Theme (Gonna Fly Now), Eye of the Tiger and Remember the Name.
