the Junior Cert

God, why is it that 15 year olds in Ireland must do a really crazy exam called the junior cert and keep on dancing and have a social life and do other things? I am spending my whole mid term break studying for some stupid exam. Then you have to do it all over again for the leaving cert wen ur 18! Argghh!!!!!!

sounds kind of like the standardized tests here in the US. public schools take them every few years because some bureaucrat decided that one test for all the kids in the country is a good indicator that everyone's learning at the "right speed". then we've got the SATs and any other number of tests to prove that you're smart enough to go to college. it's a flawed system because some kids are super smart in the classroom but don't test well, and then there's kids like I was, I tested really really well even if I wasn't super great in a specific subject. And some kids don't speak the language or read well and the test is only in english.

I know how you feel! But really you don't realise until afterwards how not a big deal it really is! Like it seems like a really big deal at the time but it really isn;t! So ong as you have the work done it'll be grand! Like I got 11 As!

i doubt i got any A's. i probably could have studied more than i did but i dint have any time what with dancing etc. im afraid of the fact that i possibly failed history . I am dreading my results in September

OMG! We have a test like that in high school you take it when your a freshman then you take the same test again except it's called the exit exame and you take that when your a senior in high school.

I wouldn't be so worried about it! The actually mark history really easily! You'll be fine! Don't stress about it!

uuuuugh i have to fo that next year complete and utter waste of time. at least u don't do art, ur marked 4 the whole year on that project by project!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
