Default what do judges look for in prelim

Hi just wondering so i know what to work on most or make sure i have

i know turnout's a big one, and timing, crossover, etc. the basics. plus you have the style or the pop and stand out from everyone else. also STRAIGHT KNEES!!! i'm not completely sure though...sorry!

CONFIDENCE! This applys to all levels though, it seems more important once you begin PC and is vital in OC. In levels under PC your technique can carry you but once you get into champion levels you need the full package, which includes confidence!

I dont have much advice...giving that I'm getting ready for pc too....but I have to say, this advice helps me!

I'm in open now but I definitely remember my prelim days. Turnout, timing and rhythm, posture are all important. Just look like you love what you're doing and have fun with your dancing! When I was in prelim I stressed a lot because I wanted to be in open, but once you get in open you're at the top, so really enjoy your time in prelim and good luck!!
