Arrow Latest trends in Irish Dancing?

I know there is probably a thread with this question on it, but I can't find it. SO, what are the new trends?

In dresses, it seems like asymmetrical designs is the big thing right now. I've seen lots of dresses with animal print, but mostly only in the champion levels. And of course every year, dancers use more and more rhinestones.

The high collar seems to be catching on. I personally like it a lot, I would love to have one on my dress. I think it looks super cute with a bun wig.

I thought of another thing that seems really popular right now on solos. In the pictures from NANs, there were a lot of dresses where the shoulders and arms of the dress were made to look like a shrug or mini-jacket.

There are some pictures in here: http://.dance.net/topic/9966674/1...s-quickly.html

Also, the bun wigs seem to be back in style -- a little over half of the worlds dancers were wearing them. That, and the new semi-pleated gavin skirts that are really easy to dance in. Also, having your name on the back of your dress -- Nimah neale, clair greenly...

Bows on the back instead of capes are also very 'in' right now, as well as the soft skirts. Also, the sequin fabric is appearing on a lot of dresses.
