Anybody below novice?

You know, everyone started out at beginner ( or whatever it's called where they live) and they built their way up by going to classes and practising and going to feiseanna and working. But we all have to go through all the same steps.

I know some World Champions, and they never look down at those of us who are not at that level- they just do what they can to help and encourage us all. You can do it and you have just as much chance as anyone else.

Just practise and listen to your teachers and compete, and you'll make it one day. For some folks it takes a short time, and for others it may take longer, but it's the working and trying and dedication that makes the goal reachable! Just don't get discouraged!!!!

My little kidlet is AB/B2 & the older kidlet is Nov & one OPW. DD is in a hurry to move up but she'll be where she's at for a bit. She's only nine and there are things she needs to grasp before moving her up. But she has tibia torsion and hardly ever places in her soft shoe dances. The placements will come in time but she's in a hurry.

I'm in preliminary champs and hearing about that stuff makes ME feel like a bad dancer- but i've set a goal of going to worlds by senior year.. that gives me 3 years. If you set a goal you tend to work harder to acheive it. especially if you do it with a friend. one of my best friends and i are working toward my goal although she'll probably get there this year and i won't (she was 14 away from it last year). Gather up a group of friends and set a goal and the time you want to acheive it in and then work towards it together. Just make sure that you give yourself a reasonable goal that you know you can reach

Agreeed. Im so getting anoyed because i am in 2 adv beginner one prizewinner and the reast novice and im dying to get a solo dress but i have to get out of the 2! adv beginners I have a feis on this sunday im desperate to move up!

I'M ONLY IN BEGINNER 1 FOR ALL OF MY DANCES!!! STILL!! hopefully, that will change tomorrow!! i've only gone to one feis ever, so don't think that I'm just STUCK in Beginner 1 because I'm not a good dancer because that's not true!! So don't get the wrong idea!!

reeel_princess17, you are going to do so well at this feis, it'll make your head spin!!! Just don't worry about it and do your best and you'll do great.
And yes, I am definately up to no good and I have the shirt to prove it!!

I know what it's like I just got out of my last 2 adv beginner dances yesterday. I know how frustrating it is the biggest tip i can give you is life and turn out a lot.
