Default When to buy a new wig?

How often do you buy a new wig or how often do you think you should buy a new wig? It really depends on the number of uses but after how many years, despite number of uses, should you replace your wig?

I would say when it looks bad. I don't think you can just say "once a year" because if you don't wear it much or are very very careful, you wouldn't need to replace it, but if you were rough with it, it might only last two months.I once heard the time limit of a year, but when I heard that, I was on my second year with mine! I'm always very careful with my wigs and so mine can last pretty long. But sometimes you get one that's just not good and it falls apart or rats up really badly. So I'd just say, whenever it begins to look like something you'd rather not have on your head, then get a new one!!!

Once it gets really frizzy and you can't chop off the single frizzy curls anymore because they're all like that, it's probably time for a new one.

When the curls have fallen down so they're all loose and frizzed, and when it's lopsided

I've had my wig since I started dancing 5 years ago and it's still in near-perfect condition!

There isn't any set time when you should or should'nt buy a new wig. I think once it starts looking a little tatty, and frizzy, maybe then that's the time for a new one.! x
