Snotty-ness at Feisanna

I don't know about you guys, but I always try to make friends at feisanna. I usually just say to the person sitting next to me "Hi! I'm Evie! Wanna be friends?" But usually all I get back is a stare that says "OMG you freak" and silence, and then they walk away, or they say something like "Get away from me" or "You're scaring me"
GOSH I'm just trying to be nice, and it's starting to get really annoying. I don't want to stop, because I've made a few really great friends that way.
Do you ever get this kind of snotty-ness at feisanna? Vent here!
