I think you're allowed to go back if it's been a really long time, but not all the way to beginner.

Hey there!

So you want to compete again at 24 ? Excellent!! I'm 38, and still competing (mind you - didn't start dancing till I was 21!) I think all the other posters are right, ask your teacher for his/her advice. They've been teaching you & will be familiar with the current competitive scene so will be best able to advise you about what level to go back in at & what you're capable of.
