Default New Dancer!

Hey Guys,

I have been interested in taking Irish dance since I was a little girl watching Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance, but I could never find some where to dance. I finally found a school that taught an adult class for not an insane amount of money and went to my first class last night.

At first I was kind of nervous and laughed at myself a lot, I haven't really danced much in the past, the last actual dance CLASS I took was when I was maybe 5-6 and was ballet. I danced in school musicals and things but nothing formal since that ballet class. None the less the muscles in my legs seem to want to plant my feet back together after every step instead of continuing to move forward, but by the end of the class I was getting used to it. The 1-2-3s seem to give me the most trouble, but the teach told me once I get those down, I should be golden!

I'm excited to take on this dance, and conquer it!

Morgan
