Default Please help!!!

Hi everyone I need help!!!

I'll go to a Feis right after the summer break, but I need Intermediate Reel steps!! (My teacher is on holidays)

If you don't know the european levels, here they are:

Beginers
Primary
Intermediate
Open

So that's the level right before Open!!

I have to make up two whole steps on my own!!
And I haven't seen any intermediate dances before....
What are the most common jumps etc. at this level in your organisation ???

You can use youtube vids for explanations I'm sure I won't know all the names

Don't do something too complicated, keep pretty simple, I'll think of some ideas.

Okay, here is an idea, but I don't know if you will understand what I'm saying.
Right leg
jump scissor down cut twist twist twist kick one two switch switch and over and over hop quiver down switch switch step lift pull.
left leg
same except you switch first instead of jumping

It's just an idea, you probably have noooo idea what i'm talking about though! I just thought it up off the top of my head!

Talking hope it helps!

this is what my teacher tells me wheni make up steps:
in general your first step should have a run in it to get you out in front of the judges
after the run there should be some high pieces

your second step should have "fancy footwork" and high pieces it doesnt hhaavveee to move as much but there has to be enough movement to get your across the stage at least

i cant think of anything else right now hope it helps!!!

I suggest doing something simple but do it really good! I agree it should have some runs in the first step and "fancy footwork" in the second step. That is reely good advice gaelicdancer84!
