Here in South Africa, at my school, we haven't had a holiday for months! I NEEEEED one! We close for 10 days on 21 September, just in time for the South African Irish Dancing Championships. The biggest day on our ID calendar!

I'm in Australia and we don't finish the year until December!!! Holidays in 3 weeks though, can't wait!

Mm here in Australia school started back in January, though we got holidays in April, July and just now. Up north where I live, the April holidays are for one week, the July holidays for 4 weeks and the Oct ones for 1 week (I went back three days ago!) but most places have two weeks in all their holidays. On the home stretch now! 8 weeks and counting till my exams and formal!
