if i compete at the western region oireachtas mini feis, can i move up?

Yeah, this is just like a regular feis(Except they usually don't do hard shoe) but you compete in your same levels and if you have more than 5 in your competition, you can move up in the same way that you usually would. I think that they only call it a "mini feis" because only the siblings of solo competetors/ dancers from figures, dramas, etc can compete and they don't do hardshoe so it is usually a smaller competition.

This is the "mini-feis" that is going on while the western region Oireachtas is going on--it is for those who either have a sibling dancing solos at the O or they are dancing in figures but haven't qualified for solos. Last year, they had it in the awards room during the day (awards were at night), 2 years ago, they held it in a tent outside the venue for the O, and 3 years ago, it was held in a hotel across the street from the hotel where the solos were held.
