when you are at a feis all you try and do is make yourself be better or look better that your aponant but if you be yourself and not the "person" who you are trying be and you have your own stlye and personality the judges are going to spot that and no you are trying to be yourself and showing them that the dancer they are looking at is the true person deep inside.
take the advice be yourself and you will soon see what comes out of it.
