This might sound a bit silly, but how do you get pictures onto your profile?

No, it's not silly at all. if you go to your profile page and click edit your profile, then you can scroll down to a block that says "picture" Click "browse" and it lets you loook on your hard drive for a picture. Make sure you edit your picture to the size it suggests, and then you just click and it uploads it for you. then go to the bottom of the page and click submit, or it won't work! Sometimes it takes it a little while to appear, but it will!

Make sure that your pictures are HTML codes. If they're not, you can fix that by using .photobucket.com or .tinypic.com
