Arrow What do you have to do to win a prelim comp?

I need to win my prelim compitition and i would like to know what the judges look for...

It took me about a year and a half to get out of prelim, but I would say that they look for stamina. It's really important that you don't loose your energy by the end. In hard shoe, strong beats, in soft shoe, LIFT! In all of your rounds being sharp seems to work really well for me.

the things that the ajudicators r looking for ia a confident dancer, a happy dancer, someone who has really turned out feet, and a dancer that isnt scard.......

like treblegirl said, i think stamina is a major thing...you have to show that your are capable of being up there with the best to move up, and being up there with the best means you need to be really fit to dance powerful and complex steps. good luck!!!

I am doing that also are you getting off school early that day or are you not going to bother going in?Have you figures also???

Yes I will difinetly be off school resting. I am afraid I do no know what I am allowed do after I do my Prelims. Why are you going to school.

Yes i lonly live two minutes away from the school and have not missed a day yet!!Trying to hold that record till i leave this school as going to secondary in Sept..

they wont you to come out stronge will a great beginning they base their score on thier first impression i think
