To move on to the next level, you must win each dance individually in each level in a competition that has five or more dancers, which means that it is possible to have one dance in bun and others in mean or ard. Ard dancers take part in championships and solo costumes can be worn from lar level upwards

For some reason I though Lar and Mean were the same thing....how does it work if not all feiseanna have Lar grad? Do the people in Lar compete in Mean or something?

In western america our levals are
Beginner 1: need 1, 2, or 3 to move in to B2
Begginer 2:need 1 or 2 to move into novice
Novice:Need 1 to move into prizewinner
Prizewinner: need 1, 2, or 3 in two hard and two soft
Preliminary Champion:Need two 1 to move into open
Open Champion
