Default Adjudicators?

Hi Im really confused! Some of the judges at feises have grudges against the woman who owns my school! They have placed me pretty high, but I have gotten 4th (Which I usually get 1st or 2nd) and they have good comments. I asked the woman hwo own my school, and she said they place me low because they do have grudges against her! any judges in PA that dont do that? PLZ HELP!!!

I don't think a judge who is worth anything would do that. They don't care about who owns the school or who has the sparkliest dress or who has orange legs. They judge the quality of the dancing that they see. I wonder why your teacher would tell you a thing like that?

Depending on what level you are, if you placed 4th, the judge is not holding a grudge against anyone. There might just be better dancers at that specific feis. There is only a 2-3 place difference from what you usually get. I vary alot when I compete!

I dont know any judges who would do that!

And if you have a solo dress, I am sure that at least some feiseanna do not let the judges know what school you come from. Sure, they could probably figure it out if they wanted, but they might not even bother.

thats not right but really all u can do is dance ur best and try and be the bigger person not all those judges could have grudges against ur teacher maybe u just didnt dance ur best that day or that there were people better also every judge looks for something a little different so one could love the way u dance and another could be like what the heck but it is possible they have grudges just dont let that get in ur way good luck
