Same here! I'm currently learning a light step and a heavy step at the same time! It's so hard!

That's happened to me too! I've also been thrown into show dances with only about a minute before having to perform it... ^_^

YES one time i had been working really hard learning a new treble jig step and the end of the second step was the same as the beginning of the new on and so when i was practicing at a feis i kept doing the ending of that move in the second step how it is done in the new step i ending up over thinking it and when i got on stage i completely forgot even the beginning of my first step and had 2 just do what parts i remembered thankfully there were only 3 people in my comp. and i got 2nd

yep. Done it before.. and honestly.. I didn't have too much of an issue with it. I went with my gut and mixed up the new and old steps so that it was comfortable for me and I did pretty well at it too.

do what makes you feel comfortable..even if you're supposed to be doing a new step.
