Question setting sights on upcoming oireachtas!

so at my most recent feis (Graham Academy Feis) I placed second in my Open Champ. While this was nice, I am quite confused. I thought I danced terribly. I died in my treble jig big time on the left of the third step, A couple of my leaps in slip jig were big booms, and set was the only one I actually felt good about.

I have no more competitions left this year, only the oireachtas. I was wondering if you guys have any tips for training and such. I'm the only girl in my OC who hasn't recalled before- yet I've placed second and third ( i've also placed last but I did have a very bad dancing day...)
