eyeshadow

okayy so i was just wondering what eyeshadow everyone likes to wear for competition!

for xmas i just got this thick shimmery green mineral shadow from ulta, and it works really well and looks pretty with my green eyes...if theres a certain brand or store you like let me know!!

in addition to shadow, what other makeup do u like to wear for dance??

Since I don't have my own dress yet, I don't really wear that much makeup...I'm trying to save the uber bright colors for when I get my own dress

For now, I wear concealer/foundation, powder to set it, lipgloss, mascara, and kind of a light shimmery white shadow

Ulta works well; I kind of like the thick shadows that you have to apply with your fingers not the powdery ones cuz I think the thicker ones stay on longer, but that's just me!

I wear natural colors for the eyshadow, some black pencil or black eyeliner inside and outside the eye, some foundation and lipgloss but I will never renounce my fake eyelashes!
They look great and very natural, you get that impression of depth which i like very much and they stay all day long (the Revlon ones...no feedback obout other brands).
Anyway in my opinion make up should be evident but not aggressive.

as i have a rainbow dress with a red base/background i can get away using any colors for eye shadow but my favorite is golds which can look natural and also noticable(if that makes scense) anyway i usually use my own foundation (neutragena - great for problem skin - dry like mine) bronzer, powder and then light lipstick/gloss eyeshadow, little eye liner and mascara - if you want to have fun add a little glitter around the eyes. i also act so this makeup is not as thick as what i am use to - perfessional stage (pancake) makeup - but you can always add/lessen makeup amount to what you(or your parents) like or approve of. my favorite brand are covergirl and neutragena(which like i said is good natural makeup) hope this helps
