i was wondering if on your profile, do you have to fill out where you live? i was just wondering if it is against some rule or something to not fill it out.

No, you don't have to at all. But it's nice for other members to have some kind of idea where you live, like your country for example. That is still safe. But if you feel uncomfortable about it at all, leave it out.

No you don't.Instead of putting your state though you could say for example,USA, Western region.

A lot of people just have the country. Mine has my state, but you don't need to be that specefic. I don't know if it's possible to leave that blank, though.

It's totally possible to put whatever unwant in it. IDM would never force u to give out information. In general. IDM only want u to be safe and feel comfortable. If it won't let u leave it blank, u could do lala land or The Unite Nations of Nonoyobeeswax!

You should just put your country, not your state/county if you dont want to. Its nice for people to know what part of the world you are in, but of course, its up to you
