What set dance do you do?

I have a CD that has 44 different sets not including the ones that have different speeds.

No, your teacher will change your set when they feel you're ready for a change. You don't get to pick the set you do.

I'm in novice (for reel, treble jig and hornpipe) and prizewinner (for slip jig, traditional set, non-tradition set when they offer it, and single jig) and I do Blackbird or Orange Rouge 69 when they offer non-traditional set for me.

I do Blackbird, but I just learned Garden of Daisies and I want to do it now.

I'm not sure, but I think there are four non-modern set dances. If you change is up to the teacher, and the teacher choses which one he/she wants you to do.

I think that depends on what school you go to, some teachers will let the dancers decide and others don't. I'm not even sure if my teacher does or not since I'm not that level yet, I still have to do St.Patricks Day.

I know St.Patrick's Day,Black Bird,Garden of Daisies,and I'm doing Job of Journey Work now.I'm going to compete in it at my next Feis.My fave set though is Garden.

i always have trouble remembering set dances. ive learned three but i dont remember any of them. i learned st. patties day, blackbird, and most of garden of daisies. i hate them all... probably because my ryhtm is always terrible and i never practice them... but they are fun to watch!!
