I do recognize a couple of girls winning a lot but the really weird thing is at one feis there was a girls who got a 1st 2nd 3rd and 5th( I think) but all she was wearing was a black skirt, a regular red t shirt, poodle socks(shoes etc.) and a wig without any headband or anything. A lot of the moms from my school pointed it out too!!!!!! STRANGE!

I don't think people should be winning just because of their outfit.Maybe she couldn't afford a better costume,or maybe she was in between costumes.Either way this proves that the judges are really looking for the best dancer, not the best costume, which is how it should be.

Of course, but after they're the best in your level, they move up and find themselves again at the bottom and have to work their way to the top again. If they win loads in a row, they obviously deserve to move up, don't they?

In regards to the costume, there is no marking down or up for costumes unless they affect your dancing. For example, if you have a really ill-fitting dress, it would probably be distracting you and you wouldn't be dancing your best. In short, it doesn't matter what you wear, as long as it's neat!

yes. certain big champs go every week which means its harder for the rest of us to get good placements...i'm talking about people who have won majors like the All Irelands.

usually if someone is consistently winning that means theyll be moving up soon. they are the best dancers in the level so theyre going to win. then they move up and will ahve to start all over again. it happens to everyone.

I'm glad to hear it! I think too much of ID is about the clothes - it really annoys me. I've got a dress now, but I don't think it should be what they focus on.

Not really. I'm in novice and open prizewinner. Obviously the same people don't win in novice all the time, because once someone wins, they move up to the next level soon. In the open prizewinner level, sometimes the same people win a lot, but not all the time.

if someone is winning all the time it is probably because they are an awesome dancer and deserve to win.
