Counting threads

ummm.. I just want to say that counting is kind of fun and it's great and all but it's really making me sad. This isn't helping anything besides upping the posts that people have. This isn't really a discussion of anything important that's going on. It's an ok idea, but three threads is a bit much and truly, I'm beginning to think it's kind of a waste. I would prefer that people were going through actual discussions or go through new people's profiles to try and make new friends and recruit for the forum. I am fine with discussion threads but only posting a number isn't aiding in anything. (There's a reason there's a minimum amount of characters on the forum)

I just don't feel like I can participate in these anymore because as a moderator, I'm beginning to question if this is anything but a collective and agreed spamming.

Sorry guys but I feel like this goes a bit too far and defeats the point of the forum.

I agree. It was fun, but we've been there and done that now. Time for a new game! One with a bit more meat around its bones!

I know what you mean. I don't do it for the points, though, as you can tell. XD I just do it to help them out.
I think it's getting old cause the point is to reach 50...We got to 50 so many times and even almost to 200 before...But regardless of weather we reach our goal or not (or beyound) we start all over when there's a mod. It's an endless cycle. So I just stoped doing it.

I would like to apologise for starting all this.

On the forum I first started it on, there was an area just for games, in which you could post any number of times and not have your post count bumped up. We also didn't take the thread quite as seriously as on here.

I honestly didn't take these differences into account when I started that thread on here.

I'm really sorry to have caused all this trouble and I would like to ask that someone with administrative powers lock my thread.

You didn't cause any trouble. Thanks for the fun! It's just time to end it now and come up with new things.

ClareJulissa, You have done nothing wrong and you provided tons and tons of entertainment. Hey, I even joined in for quite some time. It's just time to move on.

As for administrative powers.... It's not going to happen. Threads have never, ever been locked or deleted.. even when the site first started as just a forum, was super active and when the admins went to the forums and put in their two cents. So..... we can just let it sink to the bottom of the stats, but my guess is, is that it'll be there forever.
