This guy told me he liked me, and said he would be sad forever if I didn't like him back, so even though I don't like him, I told him I did so I wouldn't hurt his feelings. I really regret doing that now, what do I do?

the longer it goes on the for the longer we will be hurt and the more just go straight and tell him but do it carefully and say that there are plenty of girls who would love to go out with him or something like that

you should never tell someone you like them just so they don't feel bad. i'm sure that this guy would of been happy in a week.
you could do the "just friends" thing, but sometimes that hurts more.
Just tell him you don't like him like that. it's not good to lead him on

Okay, now it's ridiculous. He calls me every hour and emails me like 50 times every day! What the heck do I do now?

Thanks, but there's one more problem: he irish dances and I'm gonna have to see him at feises and if I tell him I don't like him it will be awkard.

i know it's hard and it's gonna be awkward, but you gotta tell him. i went through the same thing...only this guy liked me and i never said i liked him. he kept texting and texting me, it was annoying and ran up a bill. but just tell him. otherwise don't be upset if he keeps calling and emailing

Just tell him that you don't have the same feelings for him as he does for you. It's better than to lead him on. You will hurt him more in the long run. Just be friends with him if you both want to. He'll get over it. A couple of years ago my friend said that he liked me but I told him straight up that I didn't have the same feelings for him only as a friend. For a while he wouldn't talk to me or AIM me. It takes time to get over someone. Now we're still friends and he has a great girlfriend. He's happy now than I would've ever made him.
