Thumbs up Set Dance Game!

In this first installment of A Set Dance Game - see if you can create a short story - of between 50-100 words. But... it must include the name of at least 10 set dances in it! Put the set dance names in all caps. Post your story here - or email cameron@irishdancing.com. I'll then have you guys help me choose the most creative and exciting one.
If you don't know that many set dance names, one place to look is the blogs where some people wrote their favorites.

For example, your story might start out... We were going on THE HUNT when we ran across the KING OF THE FAIRIES...

Have fun - I can't wait to read them. And we will keep the game up for 3-4 weeks so everyone will get a chance to think of something!

The KING OF THE FAIRIES was making his way through the GARDEN OF DAISIES on his way to THE HUNT when he bumped into who else but MADAME BONAPARTE.

She said, "you BLUE-EYED RASCAL! I haven't seen you in ages!"

The King replied, "You're right, not since ST. PATRICK'S DAY back down over by THE LODGE ROAD!"

Just then THE BLACKBIRD in the tree nearby began to sing. The Madame remembered she was on her way to meet THE THREE SEA CAPTAINS at MISS BROWN'S FANCY Restaurant.

"Say, Your Highness would you want to come to lunch with myself and the captains?"

The King thought for a minute and decided having his lunch made was better than hunting for it and heartily agreed.

One Day the FOUR MASTERS came to town to do their JOB OF JOURNEYWORK in France.
Then all of a sudden their was the DOWNFALL OF PARIS.
And the Band ACE AND DEUCE OF PIPERING to the sorrow of the loved ones who passed because of it.
But on a good note to share some happiness the People who have died from such a awful thing would have loved them to do was go right on over and JOCKEY TO THE FAIR.
They had loads of fun going on the little Rides and playings Games and watching THE FIDDLER AROUND THE FAIR play some very classical Celtic Music.
Then they were on THE HUNT to find a very cool hidden tresaure at the fair that could win them the biggest Prize of all,a "Free" Month of Irish Dance Lessons in France.
After they were done with their "Big" Adventure for the Day walking around they saw a BLUE EYED RASCAL playing tricks on his "little" Sister and saw for sure IS THE BIG MAN WITHIN.
And of course those HURLING BOYS who were renowned across town for playing tricks as well except on "Everybody".
But after all their fun they travelled to the GARDEN OF DAISIES they paid their respect to their loved ones and friends and put flowers down in rememberance of them.
May we all know that the KING OF THE FAIRIES will be watching down on them.

Here's my story. This is so fun.

“It’s ST. PATRICK’S DAY son. Wake up. Today we must go on THE HUNT for THE KING OF THE FAERIES. First, we must ask the ORANGE ROGUE and THE BLUE EYED RASCAL which ash tree the king resides in. Then, our FIDDLER AROUND THE FAIRY TREE will lure him out. That’s the only way to do it. The THREE SEA CAPTAINS, MADAME BONAPARTE, the JOCKEY that went TO THE FAIR, the HURLING BOYS, THE PIPER, and THE STORY TELLER are all coming. After we find the king, we’ll go down to BLACKBIRD Inn and HURRY THE JUG so to speak, to celebrate. So meet me out in the GARDEN OF DAISIES. We have a JOB OF JOURNEY WORK to do.”

"OK, Dad. I'll be ready in a PLANXTY DRURY."

OK, here's mine. It's one hundred words with twenty-four set dances.

At RODNEY’S GLORY, pride, and joy, the LODGE ROAD tavern, a ROVING PEDDLER appeared. Behind came THE PIPER and THE WANDERING MUSICIAN, PLANXTY DAVIS, PLANXTY DRURY, PLANXTY IRWIN, and PLANXTY HUGH O’DONNEL. MADAME BONAPARTE with her BLACKTHORN STICK came telling of BONAPARTE’S RETREAT whilst the ORANGE ROGUE inquired,
“IS THE BIG MAN WITHIN?”
“HURRY THE JUG!” Cried THE THREE SEA CAPTAINS while reminiscing about THE BATTLE OF ARKLOW. THE STORYTELLER spoke of the SPRIG OF SHILELAGH as THE BLUE-EYED RASCAL listened along. A ROVING PEDDLER sold a WHITE BLANKET that met with MISS BROWN’S FANCY at the LODGE ROAD Inn.

Smile My Musicians Story

One day, a WANDERING MUSICIAN fell asleep under the KING OF THE FAIRIES. The fairies sprinkled magical powder on the musician. This brought out THE BIG MAN WITHIN. In his ACE AND DEUCE “dream”, he was the JOCKY TO THE FAIR, going on THE HUNT, traveling the seven seas alongside THREE SEA CAPTAINS. He was enjoying himself, but was tired, so took a TRIP TO THE COTTAGE, followed by a nap. Suddenly, there was a giant ST.PATRICKS DAY parade, with the biggest BLACKBIRD the musician had seen. All of a sudden, the BLACK THORN STICK was before him, and he awoke, but the mystery that haunts the musician curiously, is the FIDDLER ‘ROUND THE FAIRY TREE. Was it ever really a dream?
