Oh cool. I am looking for my first solo dress, preferably used but it can also be new or custom made
(in the U.S.) anyone know of a good place to look for used or a dressmaker or both??

^^^theres a lady in california that makes dresses for not a lot maybe 900?? i dont remember how much but anyway you send her pictures of dresses you like and she will make one for you and the only thing is is that she has total creative control, my friends getting a dress made by her and i forgot the name but ill ask her at dance class this weekend!!!!

That's a really good price but I don't think I could just trust someone with MY dress, you know? It's supposed to reflect me and what I love. I have like this whole vision of what mine will look like, what the knots will represent, where they will be, and the color that they are. It takes a very strong person to be able to give someone creative control. I am too much of a "my way is the way that we're going for" kind of person-big flaw, but Jesus helps me with it. It's really too bad I don't relax more- $900 is fantastic for a new dress. I'm not too fond of the dress makers here-guess I have to take a trip to California. *snaps fingers but secretly is happy, though I don't know what's in CA 'sept great ID school! LOL*
