Warrior is inspired by the strength and elegance of a suit of armour, reflecting my journey as a dancer. Just as armour protects a warrior through battle, dance has taught me resilience through challenges, setbacks and hard work.

The intricate silver patterns represent engraved armour, symbolising strength and determination, but also representing grace and artistry. I decided on royal blue, teal and emerald green stones with a royal blue underskirt on a black base for a pop of colour and a design that will surely captivate judges and spectators alike from the moment that I walk on stage.

A unique element of this dress is the sleeves. I decided that instead of traditional, heavy dress sleeves, a leotard can be worn underneath the dress for a lighter alternative, with different leotards for different looks. I have demonstrated two different examples in my design, one with a black lace sleeve, and one with a sheer black sleeve covered in royal blue stones. This feature is sure to make me stand out in the crowd.
