Rose and Sword Academy of Irish Dance

Rose & Sword Academy of Irish Dance has been sharing the joy and tradition of Irish Dance with students of all ages since 2016. Located in Williamsburg, Virginia, and serving the greater Hampton Roads area, the school offers Irish Dance classes for children, teens, and adults, from beginners through experienced dancers.

Rose & Sword Academy is owned and operated by Kathy Nelson, ADCRG, and is affiliated with the World Irish Dance Association (WIDA). Kathy and the school's team of teachers provide instruction based on each dancer's age, experience, and skill level in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Whether students want to Irish Dance for fun, fitness, competition, or performance, Rose & Sword Academy offers opportunities for dancers to develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy being part of an Irish Dance community. Students also have opportunities to perform locally, including at Williamsburg's monthly 2nd Sundays Arts & Music Festival.
