all 1 Pennsylvania State University Rince na Leon is The Pennsylvania State University's first and only Irish dance club, performance group, and intercollegiate team. We provide an opportunity for competitive, retired, and non-competitive Irish dancers to enrich their Irish dance experiences and opportunities through the Penn State community. Founded in 2011 by Margaret O'Brien and Erin O'Brien, Rince na Leon is an organization dedicated to providing an enjoyable experience for all dancers of all levels as they improve upon their skills. We are always welcoming new dancers, and we would love to have you join us!

Northumbria Irish Dance Society
all 1 Northumbria Irish Dance Society Have you been dancing since you were wee? Or are you interested in trying something new? No matter your experience or background, we would love to welcome you to Irish Dance where we teach a mix of Festival and Feis dancing! You can join us for fun in any of our classes, or you can perform with us in our annual show, fundraisers and competition team! If you'd like to perform with us regular attendance at our classes is encouraged so you don't miss out on our performance dances. Our membership price includes all classes throughout the year and will fund our show costumes. All members will have access to a private Google Drive channel, where further information for the show and classes, as well as videos from each dance class, will be uploaded. Treble on the TyneThis is our annual show, where we collaborate with Newcastle University’s Irish Dance Society to showcase all the dances we have learnt over the past year! This is a great opportunity to boost your performance skills and help with your confident skills, as well as meet other fellow Irish dancers from Newcastle uni. In order to perform in the show, you are required to show up to every Tuesday lesson, as that is where your class will be learning the choreography for the group dances.

Our aim is to give students a chance to perform, to learn new dance skills and also to meet new people. We hold classes in Hip-Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, Irish Dancing, Salsa, Zumba and Strength and Conditioning at all levels. Dansoc also takes part in the National Intervarsity dance competition every year where our society gets the chance to compete against all other dance societies in the country!
