Who Travels on the IDM Tour
While the tour is hosted by Irish Dancing & Culture Magazine, many guests have no connection to Irish Dance at all. They simply love Ireland — its landscapes, music, history, and welcoming culture.
Over the years our tours have included:
• Couples traveling together
• Solo travelers
• Parents and grandparents
• Irish culture enthusiasts
• Irish Dance families
Dancers in the group may enjoy a few special opportunities to dance to live traditional Irish music, but participation is completely optional and never the focus of the trip.
Most of the experience centers on exploring Ireland’s scenery, historic landmarks, charming towns, and vibrant music culture.
By the end of the week, the group often feels less like a tour and more like a gathering of new friends.

Imagine a Day on the IDM Ireland Tour
The morning begins with a relaxed breakfast at your hotel as sunlight spreads across the Irish countryside.
Soon the group is on the road along Ireland’s spectacular west coast, where dramatic cliffs meet the Atlantic Ocean and sheep graze peacefully along stone walls that have stood for centuries.
Later that day, you might explore a charming village, visit a historic castle, or sail past mountains and islands on a scenic boat cruise.
As evening arrives, the group gathers in a welcoming Irish pub where traditional musicians fill the room with lively tunes.
Guests share stories from the day over dinner and laughter.
And if there are dancers in the group, they may even step out onto the floor to dance to live traditional Irish music — a moment that feels as magical as it sounds.
