Recognizing the Academic Dedication of Irish Dancers

For too long, high school Irish dancers have put in varsity-level training hours without receiving the academic recognition they deserve. The National Celtic Honor Society (NCHS) changes that. As the premier organization dedicated to celebrating high school Celtic artists, we are proud to give Irish dancers a platform to turn their cultural commitment into official academic achievement.

NCHS allows students to easily charter a recognized honor society chapter directly at their own high school. Through a completely "zero-prep" system for teachers, students earn official recognition across four core pillars: Scholarship, Service, Culture, and Leadership. Members who fulfill their chapter requirements are awarded the official NCHS Enamel Pin, a Certificate of Induction, and the signature Green and Gold graduation cords to wear proudly at commencement.

Whether your dancer is working toward regional championships or simply dedicating their after-school hours to preserving the art of Irish dance, their hard work deserves a place on their high school transcript and college applications.
